Digital communication focused on recruitment for Volkswagen Digital Solutions
Context
Volkswagen Digital Solutions is constantly recruiting for their Lisbon Hub and to strengthen their positioning in the IT market, a new idea emerged: instead of focusing on the usual must-haves for a given job title, the brand reached out to those who want the perfect balance between working and living through a holiday job.
// Problem
How can we attract young talent with a differentiated recruitment campaign that can also result in a PR stunt, to gain more traction for the company?
// Solution
The campaign lasted 3 months on air with the specific goal of reaching out to at least 30 applicants from specific job roles: Data Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Full Stack Developer. With WYcreative’s ideas and WYperformance’s data and knowledge, our campaign started to hit the road. Several communication pieces started to roll out, from awareness to conversion. It was live on Programmatic Display, Google Search, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Job Ads and so on. The results were 1263 applicants in the first 3 months with a -97,6% cost than estimated.
